Events

We have set up a regular Zoom Drop-In Service, a twice a month 90 minute long Zoom session on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday lunchtimes, commencing at 1pm.

Whilst every session will have an advertised Tech related Topic or Theme, often with a pre-prepared presentation by a Team Member or invited speaker, when there is time afterwards any member can just raise a particular query or problem they have regarding the use of technology in running their u3a.

We hope that we will have a few u3a Tech Team Members present at every session to be able to answer any specific queries raised and provide general guidance.

The Zoom Session joining details are published in advance of each session at the u3a Let’s Talk Tech Facebook Group, and are also published at the u3a Online Learning Events Page at : https://www.u3a.org.uk/events/educational-events#Events where a link is provided to join in the session through Eventbrite..

u3a Members can register there to attend the next session, stay in touch and discover the upcoming topics for discussion.

The Team take a Summer break from Drop-in Sessions during August.

We encourage you to join and contribute. There are joining questions which need to be completed in full, and which will be assessed for approval by one of our moderators.

A couple of members of the Tech Team monitor the Facebook feed daily, and will often comment and respond to queries you may have between the Drop-In Sessions.
